Ethics and Brown Act Training Event Was Held on 8-21-2019
The Plumas County Special Districts Association had an exceptional turn out for AB 1234 Ethics and Brown Act Training on August 21st, 2019!
Every two years, all Plumas County Special District directors are required to be certified in AB 1234 training.
Our presenter Josh Nelson from Best, Best, Krieger, Attorneys At Law, Sacramento, CA. held a class to review all the requirements needed to affirm your directorship of a special district or community service district.
The meeting was held at the Mineral Building at the Quincy Fairgrounds and it opened with the annual board meeting and a delicious lunch prepared by Lena's Cantina in Portola.
Our next class will be held in 2021. But if you missed the class, check out www.csda.net for online classes. Your Special District may be a CSDA member and if so, you get a discount.
